As we approach the Christmas 2014 festive season, often we look back to the year that was, however, I’m thinking that many reading this message will share with me that the year has flown passed at warp speed and we are left wondering what happened.

In Victoria, we now have a change in government in state, federally, we have a political party that is facing great challenges selling their vision and with an uncertain economy leading into the New Year.  Of course our Industry is very much focussed on job growth, job security and most importantly legislative governance.

To dwell on the above would take away from a time of year where many have the opportunity to take a break, spend time with the family and regroup for a new year ahead.  It is time to celebrate the fact that we still live in a safe country, a democratic country and a country that celebrates differences.  It is a time to dwell on the positives, it is a time to remember all the good things that we have experienced through the year and most importantly, it is a time to give some thought to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

I would like to wish our business partners, our suppliers, our family and friends a wonderful and Happy Christmas and a safe festive season.  Most importantly, I’d like to thank each and every one at Shave Human Resources for their excellent efforts throughout 2014, may 2015 see us reaching greater heights in our success.

Merry Christmas and wishing you a prosperous 2015,

Duncan Shave
